How to tell if a motor will fit into a dirt bike?

I am selling a 2002 cr 80 motor on Craigslist and someone wanted to know if it would bolt up to a 1987 cr 80 without modification. The problem is he lives 3 hours away so I can't just try it. Is there any website I can go to to find out if it will fit? Or does anyone possibly know?
