Is the Kymco Super 8 50cc 4T scooter a good choice for modifications?

I am currently in the market for a 50cc scooter. Yes I could go with a Honda Metropolitan/Ruckus and or Yamaha Zuma/ BWs. But I love the much sexier racing style of the Super 8, 13 in. rims as opposed to the standard 12 in. rims and the front disk brake as opposed to the drum. But back to modifications, is the Kymco Super 8 50cc 4T a good choice? Yes I know the Super8 2T would be a better mod. But they seem harder to find in California. Serious answers only please. And NO I don't want anything bigger.
